CREATIVE ECO SPRING TERM PT 1 – DESIGN & CREATE

After a well deserved break students returned ready to get stuck in and get creative. We started the term with a logo design project students had to create a design for a T-shirt and make out of recyclable materials. We then have taken a photo of their creations and will use the images and print on T-shirts in the new term and be showcased in our end of term Fashion show.

The second project students had a chance to use their imaginations and get creative either working in groups or independently creating their own Eco friendly pets. Firstly they had to think about what pet they wanted and the habitat their pet lives in and how they can make their pets out of the materials from our recycle corner. The project was supposed to end by the end of this term but students have worked so hard and put so much thought and details into their designs that we have run out of time on this project so much that we will complete in the new term as they have really enjoyed creating their pets.

The students have worked extremely hard this term and I cant wait for the students to see their finished projects next term.

ECO Fish tank – (will finish in new term)

Well done to Creative Eco club you have all worked so hard once again this term. Enjoy your well deserved break and stay creative over the half term.

Sustainable Fashion After School Club KS2

Autumn Term 1st Half

At the start of the term in sustainable fashion we began focusing on pattern printing taking inspiration from African prints for Black History month. Each student designed a range of print designs and created their own printing blocks using card board, creating amazing prints.

Over the following weeks students designed and made tote bags with patch pockets from up cycled t shirts and bows.

Students worked in groups and had to produce a full out fit using scrap fabrics and materials.
